At Elevate Church, we believe that generosity is our privilege. Generosity goes beyond our finances, our weekly tithes, and our offerings. It's helping to make a difference in the lives of those who call the Erie area home.
Through our Mobile Dream Center, we have an amazing opportunity to bless others in our community. There will be many ways for you and your family to get involved to show the love of Christ in real and tangible ways.
The Big Give was opportunity for us as a church to give back in a real, tangible way for those in need in our city. We had 286 adults and 490 children join us, and we were able to give away 401 coats, 463 bags of groceries, and over 400 warm, winter coats. 2 people surrendered their lives to Jesus as well.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
We partnered with Denny’s Coin Laundry to provide free laundry for people in our city. We were able to do 275 loads of laundry and provide free lunch and crafts to families who had their laundry done.
We partnered with Convoy of Hope to serve 2,480 Guests of Honor in our community. We were able to help hand out 1,560 pairs of shoes, 5,000 grocery bags, and 750 toothbrushes. Over 760 volunteers came from 25 churches across Erie County. 1,736 people were prayed with, and 44 people made the decision to follow Jesus.
We partnered with the Association of Related Churches during the annual ARC Serve Day. We provided our community with a Family Fun Day in the park where we served free lunches to people in our community along with other family activities including games and face painting.
We made and distributed 100 lunches for people and families in neighborhoods throughout our community.
We took our Mobile Dream Center to the streets to clean up trash, litter, and debris in East Erie, Wesleyville, and Lawrence Park.
